American Mah Jongg Class

Come join us EVERY Thursday at 3:30pm for American Mah Jongg, hosted by Sheila Kram. Mah jongg (or mahjongg) is a tile-based game originating in China that is played in various forms, including the American and International versions. Players use tiles to form sets and pairs, similar to rummy, but with unique tiles and a focus on forming specific "hands" according to a yearly published "Standard Card" in the American version. The game involves drawing and discarding tiles, and a player wins by being the first to declare they have completed a hand. **Class size limited to 4 players; please register with the Weimar Public Library**
